The Big Hammock Project
What a better way to relax than in a hammock… in the middle of the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway, in downtown Boston.
Sounds crazy right?! Well not everyone thinks so.
Seeking to bring people together through public art and objects, local architect Hansy Better Barraza along with The Awesome Foundation have created the hippest gathering spot in Boston. Barraza and her team created an 8′ x 38′ enormous hammock, which can hold up to 15 people at the same time!
It’s the pefect place to take a break in the middle of the day, chat with neighbors & colleagues or just relax with random people.
For details about the creation, installation and reception the hammock’s been getting check out thebighammock.org
